Starfighter joined our growing herd of suri herd sires in August 2006.  His fiber is dripping with shine and excellent lock structure.  He has Peruvian Fuego in his lines as well as Peruvian Madras, both have thrown suri champions.  In 2005 his fiber tested at 21.3 microns with a standard deviation of 5.6!  His temperment runs counter to the stereotype suri in that he's calm, tractable and very sweet.  As can be seen in the circle of fawn on his neck - color is in his genes.

He's still a little camera shy, but even from this angle the curly fleece is pretty obvious.  As he's gotten older his fleece has gotten even more lamb-like.  We're going to be careful with his fleece to send it to fleece shows for the judges' take on his staple style.  It's not typical for huacaya but very interesting.
